This film was funded by SIDA under the “Education Support to Iraqi Refugee Children Project”.

The short film begins in Iraq and shows how children had to move to Lebanon due to the problems in their country and continue to search for a place that is “home”.

This film is a result of the second consultation meeting with children that took place in Sana’a Yemen in October 2007 to discuss the best ways of implementing the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Children talk about the challenges they face in their daily lives and ways to promote and strengthen their rights.


 

Join the Fight against Violence in Schools

Save the Children Sweden has developed a particular niche in advocating for a ban against physical and humiliating punishment of children. This 45-second spot was developed with partners sending a clear message: NO to violence against children in schools.

These two child friendly animation cartoon spots send a message to children and adults on the dangers of explosive remnants of war in Lebanon, and teach viewers how to behave if in a dangerous situation surrounded by unexploded ordnances and how to report the danger.

Save the Children Sweden's Animate-it Method
