Within the Ta’leem educational project funded by the BPRM, Save the Children Sweden (SCS) along with the Higher Council for Childhood (HCC) in Lebanon produced a factsheet targeting Lebanese and Iraqi youths about their right as adolescents to sexual education. The factsheet states facts that young people should know as well as misconceptions most of them have shown during exchange meetings organized by SCS and HCC. It aims at raising awareness among teenagers on the physical and mental changes they encounter in puberty, as well as risks related to unprotected sexual behavior.
