The book also gives children information about what children all over the world are doing to stop discrimination.

This book teaches children between 7 and 12 years of age about violence and what children can do to prevent it. It is a tool for children to learn more about protection and their rights, and is a contribution by Save the Children to the United Nations Secretary-General’s Study on Violence against Children.

Save the Children Sweden's Mine Awareness Activities

Save the Children Sweden produced this  child-friendly leaflet explaining the dangers of landmines and how to identify them. It is primarily aimed at Yemen, but is a useful across the Middle East.

Save the Children Sweden produced two child-friendly awareness cartoon spots on the dangers of explosive remnants of war as part of its work in Lebanon for child protection in emergencies. In addition a special edition of Balamand University’s child-friendly magazine Noor and Noura was released on Mine Risk Education. This CD contains:
1. Two child-friendly animation spots
2. Child-friendly poster to increase awareness on the dangers of explosive remnants of war
3. Noor and Noura Mine Risk Education special edition
4. Information about Save the Children Sweden’s activities on Mine Risk Awareness
